    <ol><li>Start by pushing the cuticles back with a manicure stick or a cuticle pusher tool.</li><li>Turn the spring on the cuticle nippers, then carefully use the nippers to remove the protruding ends.</li><li>Use the nippers to trim away any hard skin, careful not to overcut the cuticle and into living tissue. Less is more when trimming cuticles.</li><li>Clean blades after each use with an alcohol wipe to prevent bacteria.</li><li>Top Tip: Cuticles should never be removed too extensively or too often, as this can lead to cuticle overgrowth.</li></ol>

    Before and between uses, disinfect the tool with isopropyl alcohol or peroxide.
