    <ol><li>Soak feet in warm water for a few minutes and dry.</li><li>Lift-up the fold out spring and trim the nail with the cutting edge.</li><li>Start at the corners and trim toward the centre; trim the nail three or four times as you travel across the top. This helps to stop the nail from splitting while clipping and prevent ingrown nails.</li><li>Clean blades after each use with an alcohol wipe to prevent bacteria.</li></ol>

    Before and between uses, disinfect the tool with isopropyl alcohol or peroxide.
